Navy's Dany Wask won all five of his matches to win the 174-pound championship at the 2026 Soldier Salute in Coralville, Iowa. He claimed the Soldier Salute crown by winning a hard fought 4-1 sudden-victory decision over Iowa's Gabe Arnold in the finals. Wask's road to the 174lb. title included a 17-1 technical fall against unattached Paolo Ciatto, a pin of Missouri's Kolten Oborny in 1:58 and a 14-3 major decision over Iowa State's Jacob Helgeson. Wask reached the championship finals with an 8-2 win over Nebraska's Tyler Eise.

Wask was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament following his impressive run to the 174lb. crown.
